The Happy Angel (Cleaning) Company (“HAC”) is fully committed to respecting your privacy. The purpose of this policy is to tell you how and why HAC collect personal data from you and how HAC process it. What Information do HAC collect?

Depending on which part of our site you visit HAC may collect information from you with regard to:

Why HAC collect your data and how HAC use it

HAC use data collected from you to carry out our obligations under any contract entered into between you and us. Who does HAC give your data to?

Your data is provided to third party franchisees of the Happy Angel franchise network in order to use the information provided to deliver the services requested by you. They will also pass your details to relevant sub-contractors and business partners in order to provide you with the services you have requested. If you have applied to work in partnership with us HAC will also pass your details to referees nominated by you to obtain relevant references.

 

How HAC store your data

HAC are careful to ensure your personal data is kept secure. Data is stored on secure servers that HAC use or on secure servers that our franchisees use. HAC maintain appropriate anti-virus and firewall software to reduce the risk of unauthorised access. Where data is stored in hard copy format HAC ensure this information is kept locked away safely.

 

Your rights

Under GDPR you have a right to request access to the data HAC hold on you. You also have the right to:

How long do HAC keep your data for?

HAC keep your data only for as long as is required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. This includes for the purposes of satisfying legal and accounting requirements. If HAC provide any paid services to you then HAC are required under UK tax law to keep information for a minimum of 6 years. Any information HAC collect from you with regards to marketing purposes will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
